1. How did you get involved in making hemp cosmetics?
 
When I got eczema, about 15 years ago, it made me really upset. I wanted to find a more natural way to moisturise and heal my skin, and everything I looked at seemed to be full of chemicals and preservatives. Those have no place on my skin, I thought, so I started making my own lotions. This proved to be not only safer but also very satisfying and exciting! I experimented a lot until I found a formula that I was happy with and that did not contain any added man-made chemicals whatsoever. My skin has thanked me for that. When MuLondon range was born, I knew that I wanted to use Hemp seed oil in one of my moisturisers.
 
 
2. Why do you use hemp in your cosmetics?
 
I discovered the amazing power of Hemp some years after I became a vegetarian (I am a vegan now). After reading a lot about essential fatty acids and their vegetable sources, I knew I wanted to incorporate hemp in my diet. Its chemical composition is amazing – research has proven that Hemp seed oil is one of nature’s richest sources of Essential Fatty Acids (EFA).
 
Hemp still gets such a bad reputation, which is unfortunate as it’s one of the most amazing plants on the planet. It gives us this fantastic, rich, healing oil that is packed with Omega 3/6/9, it provides us with strong, tough, resistant fibre and an amazing essential oil. Due to a number of prejudices and fears, growing industrial hemp is still difficult and in many countries it is heavily restricted even for completely THC-free varieties. People sometimes see it as hippy-like, but perceptions are slowly changing as people are becoming more aware of the benefits of using hemp products.
 
 
3. What type of people use your products and why?
 
I have noticed that people who are drawn to my range are those looking for a safe, natural and effective solution to their skin issues. I have had some amazing feedback from customers who have used my moisturiser to alleviate issues like eczema, rosacea, acne, burnt and damaged skin and allergies.

This moisturiser contains certified organic Hemp seed oil, and essential oils of Vetivert, Cedarwood, Black Spruce and rare and exclusive, English-grown hemp essential oil. Its fragrance is woody and smoky, so both men and women love to use it as a day or night moisturiser.
 
Organic Rose, Rosehip & Rosemary Moisturiser – For SENSITIVE, DAMAGED, UNEVEN skin. Packed with 100% certified organic Shea Butter, Jojoba, Rosehip extract & Organic Rose Otto essential oil. Divine, velvety, fragrant and luxurious.
 
Organic Lavender Moisturiser – For DRY & YOUNG skin. Great for all skin types with the classic relaxing fragrance of freshly cut lavender.

Yes – orders placed on my website are shipped worldwide. My shipping rates are very affordable, starting from £2.50 for a jar of cream shipped to anywhere in Europe and £3.50 to anywhere else in the world, including Australia, the USA, Canada and Japan. Most orders arrive within a week.
